Connection objects (Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.Client.VssConnection in PowerShell Core, Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client.TfsTeamProjectCollection in Windows PowerShell) provide access to many HTTP client objects such as Microsoft.TeamFoundation.WorkItemTracking.WebApi.WorkItemTrackingHttpClient that wrap many of the REST APIs exposed by Azure DevOps.
